Beside the Seaside
This May Half term, Saturday 23rd May – Sunday 31st May, Crich Tramway village are bringing the British Seaside inland to Crich Tramway Village
The Village is being transformed into a family-themed seaside resort with a breach area complete with deck chairs, buckets and spades for children to build their own sandcastles.
Join Peak FM’s Gav P on Saturday the 23rd May for a great day out for the all the family.
Howards Funfair will be with us all week which will give visitors a chance to ride on the steam gallopers, a big wheel, car rides and a Gavioli Organ.
Be amused by Prof. Jon’s “Flea” Circus, laugh at the traditional Punch & Judy and see Mr Alexander’s theatrical show.
Crich Brass will be performing on the bandstand and there is an “End of Pier” show nearby. The Jolly Fisherman from Skegness will be present for the first two days and a balloon modeller will be entertaining you during the week.
Visit our new Forge Shop, recently re-furbished for the season with fantastic local gifts as well as well as our range of transport items.
Don’t miss these exciting experiences along with unlimited rides on our Seaside trams out into the open countryside. The children will love our outdoor and new indoor play areas and there are also fascinating exhibitions, some local craft stalls and a woodland park and sculpture trail. so there really is something to keep all the family entertained.
